As the days get longer and the weather gets warmer, all signs point to Spring coming around the corner! Just like the renewal and growth that occurs in the natural landscapes of the Berkshires, this a great time of year for a renewed spirit of career advancement, growth, and opportunity. What better time than now for the 1Berkshire Career Fair?
On April 17th, we will join with Berkshire Community College and Pittsfield Public Schools to grow upon the incredibly successful model that we’ve built over past years for our annual Career Fair! Hosted at the new Taconic High School, bringing together 60+ exhibitors and anticipating more than 400 attendees, this year’s Career Fair will include new program components on top of the high-energy Career Central exhibitor hall. With a new on-site Resume Review Center, and a series of half-hour workshops offered throughout the day, the 2019 Career Fair aims to be more than just a space to learn about and apply for jobs; it will also be an opportunity to polish your career toolset, develop new knowledge, and prepare for the next step in your personal career path.
With support from highly-qualified resume review volunteers, and a set of expert workshop presenters, our aim is to support individuals from the soon-to-graduate high school senior and up. 1Berkshire Director of Economic Development Ben Lamb noted, “pursuit of a career path doesn’t stop at applying for the job; it’s a constant process of growth and networking, and this year’s Career Fair will certainly showcase that reality.”
