Berkshire Economic Recovery Project Technical Assistance Program

The Berkshire Economic Recover Project (BERP) Technical Assistance Program is a cohort-based technical assistance series for small businesses and organizations located in the Berkshires of Massachusetts. Each cohort indicated below is capped at 7 (seven) businesses per class, with that cohort going through a 2-hour initial workshop together, followed by required independent work, and then concluding with up to two hours of free one-on-one technical assistance provided by the cohort TA provider. This process is meant to provide each business the key structural guidance and individualized support to help them recover, rebound, and become more resilient in our current economic landscape.

Registering for any of these cohorts is a commitment to completing it. By registering, you are claiming a limited opportunity only offered to 7 businesses in each cohort. She also advises and supports businesses, artists, nonprofits, and startups on social media, content marketing, digital advertising strategy, and general PR and communications. Actualmente tengo un Estudio Creativo en East Boston y continuo aprendiendo cada día de este viaje de ser emprendedora latina en Estados Unidos. 

Es un workshop hecho para latinos emprendedores, con o sin conocimiento de “Branding”, es un workshop creado para entender como las marcas trabajan y como pueden diferenciarse. Vamos aprender y conocer ejemplos de como las grandes marcas trabajan y cómo podemos aplicar algunas cosas a las nuestras.

English Translation: My name is Juliana Gomez. I am a publicist by profession, a daily entrepreneur by choice and Colombian by birth. I love working with local brands, I dedicate myself to studying and understanding how brands can be differentiated and humanized to connect with their customers. I have worked with many local brands in Boston, especially latin entrepreneurs. I currently have a creative studio in East Boston and I continue to learn every day of this journey of being a Latina entrepreneur in the United States.

It is a workshop made for Latin entrepreneurs, with or without knowledge of what branding is. It is a workshop created to understand how brands work and how they can be differentiated. We are going to learn examples of how big brands work and how we can apply it to our brands.

Based on the business types and needs of the individuals participating in this TA cohort, the following are among the topics that will be reviewed and discussed in an interactive 2-hour session: Setting Goals, Knowing Your Audience, The Power of Stories, and How to be Confident and Authentic.
