PITTSFIELD — Berkshire Theatre Group has tapped a former state legislator with extensive experience in the arts and government to serve as its executive director.
Nicholas Paleologos, 65, began work in the newly created position this week.
As executive director, Paleologos will “focus initially on opportunities involving the Colonial Theatre and eventually on the development of a longer-term strategic plan,” according to a joint statement from Paleologos and Kate Maguire, artistic director and CEO of Berkshire Theatre Group (BTG).
