Missing The Berkshires? Travel Will Resume in The Future, But Here’s What You Can Do In The Meantime.
We know that these last few months of social distancing and stay-at-home orders have been challenging. Though Massachusetts has begun to reopen in accordance with the Baker-Polito Administration’s Four-Phase plan, some businesses and public places will need to wait just a bit longer. It is a challenge to not be able to do all of the things you love, and it’s easy to focus on what you can’t do right now, but we think it’s helpful to keep in mind several things you CAN do right now.
Help out your local businesses.
Check out our ideas for supporting small businesses. While you may not be able to browse stores in person or sit down for dinner in your favorite restaurant, you can offer your support through the purchase of gift cards, sharing their posts on social media, ordering takeout, and more!
Enjoy the great outdoors.
There are so many wonderful opportunities to explore the Berkshires right now. With some outdoor recreational spaces already open and more opening in the future, this is a great time to get outside and take in the Berkshires’ abundant natural beauty.
