1Berkshire Announces Sixth Virtual Town Hall: Summer in the Berkshires – Happening! But How?

May 22nd, 2020 – Pittsfield, MA – After five dynamic and engaging  Virtual Town Halls, 1Berkshire has announced its sixth conversation, to be held on Friday, May 29th, 2020 at 10 AM, with a focus on Summer in the Berkshires – Happening! But How?. Moderated by 1Berkshire Director of Economic Development, Benjamin Lamb, this panel will include Brian Cruey, Director of Southern Berkshires for the Trustees of Reservations; Laurie Norton Moffatt, Director & CEO of Norman Rockwell Museum; Mindi Morin, Managing Director of Canyon Ranch, and Lindsey Schmid, Vice President of Tourism and Marketing at 1Berkshire.

This panel of key thoughtful, strategic leaders and stakeholders represent several of the key economic drivers and focus areas outlined in the phased reopening plans for the Commonwealth. By bringing their vision, creative approaches, and guidance together in discussion, attendees will get an inside look at how marketing, logistics, and planning will play a significant role in the regional economy in the coming months.  This panel of key stakeholders is guaranteed to give attendees added layers of important insight as we move into the initial phases of reopening the Berkshire Economy, and what that means for both residents and visitors.

“With such a monumental task at hand in order to safely and effectively reopen our Berkshire economy, it is more important than ever that we have a clear understanding of how our regional economic leaders are taking on the challenge head-on. This panel discussion is a perfect step in that direction of a collective informed approach as we move forward together,” stated Benjamin Lamb.
