It’s Trendsetter Season

Save the date!  The 8th Annual Trendsetter Award nominations go live on May 22.  So now is the time to start thinking about who you can nominate for a Trendsetter Award this year. Since 2011, Trendsetter Awards have helped us recognize and honor individuals and organizations that are making a significant impact on the Berkshires.  These outstanding achievements and commitments have strengthened the economy and helped the Berkshires grow. Trendsetter categories of recognition include:Comprehensive Marketing Campaign: A creative and effective marketing campaign that uses paid, earned, and owned media to achieve measurable results.Creative Economy Standout: A creative program, product or entrepreneur demonstrating original and effective methods of production, unique design, or significant impact on the Berkshires’ creative economy.Growing/Advancing the Berkshire Economy: A project that attracts new residents, creates new jobs, or benefits the workforce for a single employer, employee segment, or the region as a whole.Nonprofit Impact: Program(s) that demonstrates excellence in providing an educational experience and/or enhancing the quality of life in the community.Newcomer of the Year: A person or company that relocated to or opened in the Berkshires after January 1, 2017, and has already made a significant impact on the region.Under 40 Changemaker: A community member under 40 with proven leadership, team building, and problem-solving skills and who has a heightened awareness of key issues affecting Berkshire County.Entrepreneur/Visionary of the Year: A Berkshire business founder/owner whose company, organization or project has made a significant impact in their industry.On May 22, you can nominate a noteworthy individual, business or organization for a 2018 Trendsetter Award in any of the above categories by visiting our Trendsetter Awards nomination page.  Awardees will be honored at Celebrate the Berkshires on Thursday, September 13, 2018.
