Celebrating Women-led Chambers

Support #WomeninBiz. Support Your Chamber.

This Wednesday, October 21st, is Support Your Local Chamber of Commerce Day. In a year that has presented many challenges, one thing has been consistent: business organizations such as 1Berkshire and all our local Chambers of Commerce have stayed true to their missions of supporting local businesses.

In recognition of Women in Business Month, we wanted to take a moment to highlight and thank the women leading many of our local chambers. Thank you for your service to our community!

Whether it has been through weekly communications, advocacy efforts, providing resources, or being a familiar and friendly voice on the other end of the phone, these women and their organizations have never been more crucial to helping our community focus on economic recovery in the immediate as well as into the future.

Take a moment to let them know they are appreciated. If you are not a member, think about joining, or if you have not yet renewed your local chamber membership, take time to do so today. They are working hard for your town and its businesses each and every day.

Although this month we are highlighting women-led organizations, there are additional local businesses in our 1Berkshire directory. Check it out, as well as all the Chambers who are members of 1Berkshire. We encourage you to support your local Chamber of Commerce this Wednesday, Oct. 21 with a social media post using the hashtag #ChamberStrong, or by sharing an upcoming event that you are registered to attend with that organization. Take a moment, too, to recognize the #WomeninBiz in your community.

Thank you, BusinessWest, for sponsoring Women in Business Month.
