May 1st, 2020 – Pittsfield, MA.- After two very-well-attended Virtual Town Halls, 1Berkshire has announced that its third Town Hall will be held on Friday, May 8th, 2020 at 10 am. It will focus on Food and Agriculture in the Era of COVID-19. Moderated by 1Berkshire Director of Economic Development, Benjamin Lamb, this panel will include Orion Howard, Co-founder/Owner of Bright Ideas Brewing, Nick Martinelli, Founder/Owner of Marty’s Local, Cynthia Pansing, Executive Director of Berkshire Agricultural Ventures, and Jessica Vecchia, Co-Director of Roots Rising.
This panel of business owners, experts, and stakeholders will share the current outlook of food and agriculture in the region, creative approaches some businesses have taken that others can learn from, and provide a point of perspective on the future of our food system here in the Berkshires. “With a broad reaching set of expertise and points of perspective around our food system in the Berkshires, this panel offers unique and dynamic insights into thoughts, actions, and approaches that could help reshape and reinforce our regional food and agriculture sector,” stated Benjamin Lamb.
