In honor of the parade’s 70th Anniversary, 1Berkshire and the Northern Berkshire Fall Foliage Parade Committee invite all to take a journey through the decades and celebrate the people, places, and moments that have shaped our communities with “70 Years in Motion – Time Traveling Through North Berkshire”.

The Parade is scheduled for Sunday, October 4, 2026 when it will once again travel through downtown North Adams beginning at 1:00 PM.  This year, the parade will bring history to life with creative floats, imaginative costumes, and memorable displays inspired by North Berkshire’s rich past, vibrant present, and exciting future.

Whether you’re stepping into the past, imagining the future, or bringing a favorite era to life, now is the time to build your time machine (or float), gather your fellow travelers, and prepare for an unforgettable adventure. Dress in period costumes, create a float inspired by a moment in history, or imagine what tomorrow might hold as we celebrate 70 years of parade tradition.

There are countless ways to join the journey, including entering a float, band or musical unit, marching group, veterans unit, public safety unit, or by volunteering on the Parade Committee.  You can also make a donation to the Parade; as the Fall Foliage Parade is funded through donations.  If you are interested in supporting the Fall Foliage Parade, there are a variety of parade sponsorship opportunities available.
