Meet the pups on the 1Berkshire team
Hi! I’m Barley and I just celebrated my 14th birthday. I live with my human mom and dad in Adams, where I have been able to enjoy the Ashuwillticook Trail, Greylock Glen, and walking around the neighborhood. These days you can see me out and about in my new stroller – I wish my humans thought about a stroller years ago!
I’ve become my mom’s co-worker, but honestly I sleep most of the day. Sometimes you can see me or hear me snoring if you take Zoom calls with her. I also get to go to the office with her and see all of her human co-workers. They are all so good to me – extra treats and lots of love.
When I’m not in the office or helping my humans “get their steps in,” I enjoy being ON the water but not IN the water. I get to go fishing, kayaking and boating in the summer. I also love a dog-friendly farmer’s market; they usually have yummy carrots there!
Meet Barley’s mom: Christine Hoyt, Director of Member Services
Christine is a huge fan of all things Berkshire, which made it a natural fit for her to join the 1Berkshire team in 2019 as the Director of Member Services. She specifically loves the many pet-friendly locations in the Berkshires which allows her and her husband Pete to bring along their favorite side-kick, Barley. Read more about Christine.
