U.S. News and World Report released its 2017 ranking of high schools across each state in the country this week. The annual report uses different benchmark measurements – including graduation rates, college preparedness, performance of disadvantaged students – to rank the success rates of schools throughout the United States.
In Massachusetts, 22 schools placed in the top 500 of nationally-ranked schools. The report’s top-ranked schools in the Bay State include a mix of public schools, located in Boston and wealthy suburban communities across the state. Many of the top schools named in the report can be found in Boston or around the Greater Boston Area. Arizona holds four of the top five-ranked schools in the nation – all of which are charter schools. Read more about the best schools in Massachusetts here >>
