No Kidding: Goat Yoga a Hit at Hancock Shaker Village

There were a lot of firsts at Saturday morning’s goat yoga class at Hancock Shaker Village. Instructor Alison Walter admitted she hadn’t ever taught a goat yoga class. Nor had any of her students. And while the goats didn’t comment, Shaker Village director of farm and facilities Bill Mangiardi assured a reporter that this was a first for his animals, as well. “I was a little concerned at first, to be honest,” said Mangiardi before the class. “Some of our younger animals haven’t had a lot of contact with humans.
