Across the United States, tourism professionals are celebrating National Travel & Tourism Week, which runs from May 7-13 2017. First established in 1983, the annual tradition is organized by the U.S. Travel Association, and shines a spotlight on the tourism industry’s economic contributions in terms of direct spending, taxes, job creation and wages.
