As 1Berkshire evolves and builds community growth in so many ways, I was ecstatic when I attended their recent Entrepreneurial MeetUp at Six Depot, encountered Lindsey, and learned that she is a fellow Lenox resident. I thought it would be super to interview her for a very neighborly and personal take on what Lenox and 1Berkshire mean to her. Lindsey and her husband, Andreas live on Taconic Ave., along with Willa Schmid (5) – daughter, who has been at Lenox Children’s Center since she was 3 months old and will start at Morris next year, & Solia Herndon-Schmid (13) – stepdaughter, who is currently at LMMHS. They have been in Lenox for the past five years. Andreas is the VP Project Development in a commercial solar business, and Lindsey works at 1Berkshire as Director of Marketing. Lindsey is originally from New Orleans, LA, but she has lived in lots of places… from Vancouver, BC, here in the Berkshires for Middle School and High School, San Jose Costa Rica, Washington DC, and just before moving back here, she was in Denver, CO.
