Lauren “Lo” Sottile is the Development Manager for the Berkshire Museum in Pittsfield. She grew up in the northwest corner of Connecticut before moving to the Berkshires to receive a Bachelor of Arts degree in Arts Management at MCLA in North Adams, continuing her studies through the Berkshire Hills Internship Program, and falling in love with the area.
Passionate about helping people and communities grow and build, Lo has spent the past eight years striving for this in the Berkshires. She currently serves as co-chair of the Berkshire County Development Alliance, an informal group of nonprofit professionals who meet to share information and engage in meaningful dialogue about advancement issues affecting the industry.
After participating in the Berkshire Leadership Program in 2016, Lo was inspired to be more engaged in community projects. She has since joined the Shire City Huddle to discuss topics such as forming a local League of Women Voters, following up on Women’s March actions, and planning and organizing the upcoming March for Science on the Pittsfield Common on April 22, from 1-4 PM.
