Business confidence at highest level in 12 yearsThe Associated Industries of Massachusetts Business Confidence Index rose for the fifth consecutive month in January, despite a marked slowdown in growth during the fourth quarter of 2016.The index rose one point to 61.4 last month, the highest reading since December 2004, and a full 5.6 points higher than a year ago.
