Generally, 4th Friday: Berkshire Queer Night Out events are scheduled hangs, according to one of the group’s four founders, Oskar Hallig. “For us, I think it came out of the fact that there was no real place [for the LGBTQ community] to gather — like in bigger cities, you might have gay bars and other places like that — so it was just an opportunity for people to get together in a non-threatening, non-specific way,” Hallig said of how the LGBTQ-oriented nights first began more than a year ago.
