The arts in Massachusetts are a booming business, according to two extensive studies released Monday. The studies found the nonprofit arts industry in Massachusetts supports 73,000 jobs. And the total creative economy — which also includes jobs like web designers, music teachers and jewelers — employs 150,000 people.
