Arsema Abegaz, Chair of BYP’s Professional Development committee, is a Data Scientist at the wellness and fitness e-commerce company, Zogics, in Lee, MA.
Hailing from Ethiopia originally, and raised in Botswana, Arsema discovered the Berkshires while doing her undergraduate studies at Williams College as an international student. After graduating in 2014 with a degree in Economics, she decided to stay in the area, where her journey has led her to the local business, Zogics. A problem-solver by nature, Arsema spends her time analyzing data in order to inform and direct business strategy and solutions.
When she’s not poring over numbers, Arsema spends her time volunteering for various non-profits, attending live music shows, and traveling around the country and beyond.
