1Berkshire Announces Its 11th Virtual Town Hall

July 28, 2020 – Pittsfield, MA – After 10 successful Virtual Town Halls, 1Berkshire is announcing its 11th conversation, to be held on Friday, July 31st, 2020 at 10:00 AM, with the focus being on reopening higher education institutions in the Berkshires. Moderated by 1Berkshire President and CEO Jonathan Butler, this panel will include leaders from the region’s higher education institutions, who will offer insight into the reopening process, the logistics involved, and the outlook as the higher education sector prepares for the fall semester.

“Higher education is a critical part of our regional economy, both in terms of educating and training our workforce, and as employers of many people living in our communities. With several nationally-recognized higher education institutions in the Berkshires, we are fortunate to have key stakeholders joining us to discuss the policies and procedures they will implement and the goals they hope to achieve during the 2020-2021 academic year,” said Jonathan Butler.

1Berkshire Town Hall sessions are held on a regular basis and are an opportunity to discuss key and core issues in our region, so be sure to visit https://1berkshire.com/virtual-town-hall for upcoming events, and to tune into recordings of past sessions. 1Berkshire Virtual Town Halls are free and open to the public, but pre-registration is required.
