As Susan Docherty tells it, her globetrotting career, including vice-president of sales and marketing, involved 20 moves and temporary homes in five different countries. including 10 years in Europe.
“It was important for me to get back to North America, with a child going into high school and aging parents,” she told The Eagle. A native of Canada and now a dual citizen of that nation and the U.S., Docherty left “an incredible crew” at GM in 2013 and spent 18 months charting her next professional move.
