Real Estate Operations Manager, Teton Management Corp

The Real Estate Operations Manager is accountable for the operational success of the portfolio of properties and will oversee operations, project management/execution, marketing, lease administration, accounting, guest services, and tenant relations. Teton is focused on acquiring, managing, and selling of mobile home communities. We hold a limited number of multi-family assets as well. Teton is based in downtown Pittsfield, MA but we are managing assets in NY, GA, and IN and expanding our portfolio rapidly.


  • Prepare owner reporting packages including budgets/business plans, marketing strategies, and monthly owner reports.
  • Monitor/analyze monthly financial performance, rent variations, and maintain market intelligence.
  • Communicate pertinent information and primary issues with ownership.
  • Monitor marketing plans and adjust as necessary.
  • Oversee resident relations & social media objectives.
  • Supervise all aspects of the leasing efforts.
  • Review leasing & occupancy activity to meet budget/proforma expectations.
  • Review and approve resident retention and renewal programs.
  • Negotiate contracts with outside vendors, including obtaining bids, and executing contracts and purchase orders.
  • Monitor contractor performance and approve payables.

Experience and Training

  • A bachelor’s degree business or related field.
  • 3-5 years’ related experience with a minimum of 3 years of management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Should have a thorough knowledge of both mobile home communities and residential real estate, including a broad understanding of finance, leasing, legal, construction, the day-to-day operations of maintenance, security, and housekeeping functions, and tenant relations requirements of managing retail and office properties.
  • Must have astute skills in building a motivated and effective team.
