On May 25, 2016, at 5:00 PM on the campus of Berkshire Community College, in the Boland Theatre, the current members of the Berkshire Chamber and the Berkshire Visitors Bureau will come together to formally vote on the merger of these two organizations with the 1Berkshire Strategic Alliance. We want you to be part of this momentous occasion, as we look back on the great successes these two entities have had and look to the future and how much more we can accomplish as a united 1Berkshire voice.

Building on the success of these entities and their important place in the history of the region, the newly merged 1Berkshire will work collectively to enhance the reputation of the Berkshires as an innovative, creative and vibrant area where businesses and careers can thrive! 1Berkshire knits together tourism and economic development lifting visitation and driving business retention and development which will result in improved property values and job creation. How often do we hear that someone came here as a visitor and later became a resident or started a business here?
