Director of Operations, Hevreh of Southern Berkshire

Hevreh of Southern Berkshire is seeking to hire a Director of Operations, to begin March 9, 2020.

The Director of Operations is a full-time, salaried position, and would be responsible for the financial health of our congregation, maintenance of our building, and other operational tasks required. The Director will manage our custodial and maintenance team, serve as the point person on rental arrangements, and manage relationships with vendors and contractors.

We are looking for someone with a strong work-ethic who wants to put his or her energy into helping make our community a vibrant and exciting place to be. Candidates should have experience in accounting and finance, strong computer skills, and a professional work mentality. We value a team mentality, open communication, kindness, dedication, and a desire to always be learning.


  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field. Five years or more of work in a related field.
  • Prior supervision of staff desirable.
  • Openness to learning new software and systems.
  • Knowledge of Quickbooks and the suite of Microsoft programs preferred.
  • Team player.
