‘Embracing Beauty of Difference’ at First Berkshire Pride Fest

Bubbles, rainbow flags and pinwheels flew through the air. A joyous spirit of celebration wasn’t far behind. “We’re here. We are here. We exist in the Berkshires!” shouted Jennifer Wahr, counselor-advocate at the Elizabeth Freeman Center, to a crowd of nearly 500 people gathered Saturday for Berkshire County’s first Berkshire Pride Festival.
